The Christian Therapist is one of the most difficult helping professionals to find in almost every location.
This ministry however has located professional Christian therapists who have Masters or PhD level degrees in counseling, the behavior sciences or psychology.
The therapists who are invited to advertise with us are licensed in the state where they practice and/or are certified through a recognized Christian counseling association.
Although impossible to guarantee the competence and professionalism of any Christian therapist we do screen them for the baseline qualifications. |
It is rarely evident if a minister is a qualified pastoral counselor and often uncomfortable to ask.
This ministry however has located Masters and PhD level pastoral counselors who also have training and or university education in counseling.
The pastoral counselors who are invited to advertise with us are licensed in the state where they practice and/or are certified through a recognized Christian counseling association.
Although impossible to guarantee the competence and professionalism of any pastoral counselor we do screen them for the baseline qualifications. |
There are many professional therapists who are also practicing Christians.
They don't advertise as a Christian therapist but they do bring a unique prospective and approach because of their faith.
The therapists invited to advertise with us are practicing Christians. Of course as always they are Masters and Phd level counselors licensed in the state they reside.
